I am a want to be Libertarian.
also, within Libertarian, how many think open source is going to win / bring the most progress vs. DRM.
I am for open source software / content.
also, how many are for price discrimination? I am against it, the way the airlines do it.

Re: INTJs as Libertarians
Fri, March 10, 2006 - 12:19 PM1. "Open source" can mean many different things. Under at least one of those meanings, it would not be mutually exclusive with DRM. In any event, there's no reason to believe that any one business model will "win" in any useful sense, and I think that's a good thing. The market will decide, if we let it.
2. I don't think price discrimination is something I can be "for" or "against" unless I'm calling for legislation to require it or to ban it. I'm not, and I reckon a wannabe libertarian wouldn't be calling for that either. Here, too, it's the market that will decide.
